Frequently asked questions
How do I activate Pro after paying?
You'll receive a license key by email immediately after payment. Open the Incognito Guard settings panel, enter the key, and all Pro features unlock instantly.
Can my child remove or disable this?
No. The desktop app requires a parent PIN to close or modify. The browser extension is force-installed via OS-level policies — the Remove button is grayed out in all browsers.
What email provider does it work with?
It works with any SMTP provider. Gmail is the easiest — just create a Gmail App Password (takes 2 minutes) and paste it into Settings. Works with Outlook, Yahoo, and others too.
Does it work if the child uses a different browser?
Yes. The installer sets force-install policies for Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox individually. Switching browsers doesn't help — the extension is locked in on all of them.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Each Pro license covers one device. Contact us at the email on the Contact page if you need multi-device coverage and we'll work something out.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major debit/credit cards and PayPal. For Ghana and West Africa, mobile money is also supported via Paystack.
Can I get a refund?
If Incognito Guard doesn't work on your machine, contact us within 7 days with your purchase reference and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.
